I have new calligraphy nibs and after much hesitation, I emptied the cartridges that came with the pens (the Lamy blue) and refilled with far more exciting inks. I am trying to practice calligraphy, and I thought I would share my "progress" - if that's what I can pretend to call it...

Laugh? You must be joking! Ok, you might not be in a position to work professionally, but I still think what you wrote looks amazing. (I have trouble producing legible cursive writing, let alone doing calligraphy). But I agree that the Alt Goldgrün is gorgeous.
(Apologies if I posted this twice).

Oooh, pretty! I love how alt-goldgrün shades!
Your gothic practice looks a million times better than mine, so no sweat xD
I want a 1.1nib to pair with the new Lamy, I need to check if they have them in Santiago (no local sellers for spare nibs BOOOO)
Ahhh I love the calligraphy nibs! Still working out how to use them but I think they're great. I can always send you that too... :)
Thank you :) This ink is AMAZING. TOTALLY GET IT. The shading blows me away.
Thank you!! It took me forever to write these words hahahaha but I figure with practice, I can only get better (I hope). I highly recommend this ink though. It truly provides some serious shading.
Nice lettering! And handwriting practice with gorgeous shading inks is so much fun.
Thank you! And definitely - I was using some plain black ink in another pen and it was sooo bland hahahha
