The Signature diary has a soft, smooth, flexible cover. The cover is hard to describe accurately. When I say soft and flexible, you may be picturing a floppy, cheap cover. Floppy and cheap it is not. It's just a fascinating, great quality cover. The polyurethane has a special feeling to it - it's almost velvety.
The planner pages are bound into the cover in a way that allows the whole thing to open easily and lie flat without having to break the spine. The outsides of the pages are orange-red and "2013" is visible on the side as well. It looks really cool and it's a nice design touch. It's very classy and professional looking!
The page-a-day set up runs from Monday to Friday, with appointment times from 08:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday are together on one page. Some people may not like this because they are actually more busy on the weekends and need more space for planning! Each page has a little section for notes at the bottom.
The paper is like the Animaland series - but I didn't want to write in this one because I wanted to offer it to a reader!
