Wow! I've never thought there would be so many Sakura gel pens! We only get about 5 regular colors here in Mexico! It would be interesting to know why the references/homages to Sailor Moon (moonlight, stardust, tiara) besides being japanese obviously.
Quite a few of these came from Japan - aside from all the Japanese ones! I too am curious about the naming but have never found any explanations behind them!
Wow, there really are so many different varieties of Sakura gel pens. The only one I hadn't heard of before was the Dark Stardust version - that one looks fun. And I actually have another version that I didn't see in your post - the Silver Shadow. It is similar to the Gold Shadow, but silver instead of gold - obviously!
Oooh I have only heard of the Silver Shadows - never seen them anywhere locally. Which is probably good... I really should use up some more of these before I get more... hehehe. They must be really lovely though.
I love your site. I love the way you have done the above post. I love Sakura Gelly Rolls for bringing me here. And I love the fact that so clear are your pictures that I will not need to buy the Gold/SIlver Shadow pens now. Never stop doing this blog. Thank you.
Thank you so much! And thank you for taking the time to comment - I had a good chuckle reading your hilarious comments hehehehe. I'm crazy about these pens. I wouldn't use them for the longest time and I realized that was really stupid so now I use them freely and I love them. So gooey and inky... *drools all over self* I'm so glad you are enjoying my blog. That makes me so happy to hear :)
Where did you get your Gelly Roll Dark Stardust pens? Have you ever heard of a black pen in original Stardust? I saw one on sale online and I'm wondering if it's just from the Dark Stardust or that original Stardust has their own black pen.
Why have you tested these on white paper only? Some of these pens are designed for use on dark paper. Also, the "artistic" shots aren't cute, they're annoying and you would be better off showing just an image of the text, zoomed in so we have a better idea of what the pens are like. And what is with your obnoxious water mark right on top of the writing? Did you even think that through?

All I can say is, I'd cut off my right arm to get ahold of some dark stardust in #722-fuchsia
