Using a variety of tools from JetPens, and Speedball dip nibs, I scribbled in my Rhodia Reverse Book (which is almost full!). I make many errors as I am slowly getting the hang of ink capacity and flow. But it is a lot of fun!

Beautiful! You're ready to make your own greeting cards now!
Your blog has ignited in me a new obsession (as if I needed any more, thank you) for fountain pens and inks... I received my first flex pen for my birthday - a Noodler's Ahab - and four bottles of ink. I'm still fiddling with the nib on the Ahab, trying to get that flex effect, but I'm sure I'll get it. I'd really love to get a vintage pen like the ones you have featured here previously. I've also ordered a few pens from the Fountain Pen Revolution site as I'm trying not to invest huge amounts of money, just yet anyway.... :-)
beautiful practices! :)
dip pen nibs have a learning curve, but you seem to be getting the hang of it pretty good! keep up the good work hun~
Thanks Patrice :) You are so kind! Hehe the hard part is getting it
consistently right!! Some letters come out great, others... even in the
same word... not so much lol.
I had a lot of trouble getting my Ahab tweaked and I still haven't gotten it tweaked to my tastes, but I know a lot of other people who have Ahabs who are very content with
theirs! I received a few FPR eyedropper fountain pens (Airmail 444 + flex nibs) which worked WAY better for me than the Ahabs, no tweaking required (aside from a rinse with water and dish soap). I'm so impressed with them and I love them. Which inks did you get? Congrats on your new obsession :) It's one of the best ones to have hehe
Thank you :D Slowly getting the hang of it hehehe. I'm having a lot of fun with them though and that's the most important thing, right? I hope.
I got four Noodler's inks - I can't remember the exact shade names, but one is Hellfire, a hot pink, and there's Violet, Burgundy, and Blue. I realized that I need more pens in order to have all the colors available at the same time. That's how it works, right? haha
YES. It's such a slippery slope! You get a new pen, you need another ink for it. Then you get another ink, then you need another pen!!
