This review is long overdue, and many pen pals may be wondering, why the heck haven't I seen this stamped on my letters before? Because I'm a moron, that's why. Moving on...
This cool stamp was a prize I won from
Paper Pastries who I've been a fan of and a follower of for awhile now. It just so happened that around Valentine's Day, Margaret had a giveaway and had a few different ways to enter. I was the Instagram winner. (In other words, follow her on
Instagram). I got to pick a stamp of my choice from her
shop and given my obsession with cats, the choice was clear. I selected the
custom pet return address stamp, one of the stamps that just happens to be designed after a ragdoll! It couldn't have been more perfect.

Margaret sent me proofs to make sure everything was spelled correctly and that I liked the design. Within days. I don't know how this girl worked so fast. And then before I knew it, a little box was in my mail. Inside was some of the most beautiful tissue paper I've ever seen (I saved it, of course), along with the stamp, and an ink pad with the color that I selected.
I adore it. The stamp looks like Tyco.
At $70.00USD, it's not an inexpensive stamp, but it is custom made and would be a fabulous gift - housewarming, wedding, birthday for a lucky pen pal - it's just so cute. Especially because you can send a photo of your own pet. Plus, Margaret is really sweet and a pleasure to deal with.
If you don't like cats (how did you end up here...?) you can have a look at the other
custom stamps at Paper Pastries!

That is adorable!
Love your "how did you end up here" comment.. that cracked me up a little too much. Also had a chuckle that your watermark in last pic looks like it's coming out of one of the cat's bum (I'm really still a 12 year old at heart, lol)
nice stamp!
adorable! i want one!
I remember seeing that ragdoll stamp on one of your past Mailbox Goodies (http://www.gourmetpens.com/2013/03/mailbox-goodies-pens-stamp.html#.UcpwWzTvvfE), and thinking "Ooohh, cool. (looks it up) Moneyy..."
ok now I MUST open a wedding registry so a kind guest can generously gift me one...or two...or three... (We have 3 furrkidds).
Okay, so I hope to see this on future envelopes! I too remember seeing that in a past post, was wondering why you didn't use it. Figured you thought it was too precious. :)
Here's my confession... I hate cats :'D Yours look super cute though! But in general I find them very mean. The fact that I'm allergic to them doesn't help either lol.
But if she ever does a Corgi stamp, I'm SO there! (even though I don't own a corgi yet </3)
Looking forward to see this making an appearance on future letters ;)
I have to figure out a quick way to clean it, then I'll get it into rotation, promise.
If I had some creative talent, I totally would! Hehe
LOL! Ah, right you are. Now that you've pointed out, I find it rather hilarious too!
Yeah, they're not cheap, but they are cute!
YES. AGREED.
Cats? Mean? I don't remember cats ever killing anyone... ;) They're not mean, but they will detect if you're apprehensive or don't like them. If you met my cats, you would change your mind, promise. Mine are dolls.
She would do a corgi stamp - you just need to contact her - she'll let you know what she needs!
Depends on the ink type you use, that also affects dry time. When my stuff gets here (a few weeks) I'll see if I can find something to send to you to help with that.
