Review: @Kaweco Pink Ice Sport Liquid Ink Rollerball - Medium @JetPens
Well, I cannot argue with pink. This is pink. Hot pink. Another yummy specimen sent by Sebastian at Kaweco - thank you again Sebastian. It's so much better to use a hot pink rollerball than a boring black bodied one. Now if only the ink matched...!
ABOUT
Body Material: Plastic
Trim: Metal
Length (capped): 10.6 mm
Length (uncapped tip-end): 10.0 mm
Length (posted): 13.0 mm
Barrel Diameter: 11.1 mm
Section Diameter: 10.0 mm
Tip material: Metal
Weight: 0.45 oz/12.75 g
Fill type: Rollerball
Price: $21.00USD
Where to buy: JetPens
PACKAGING
The Kaweco Ice Sport liquid ink rollerball pen is simply packaged, in a plastic sleeve inside a small cardboard box. At this price point and for this particular pen, it is all that's required. The box is a dark matte colour with Kaweco and flourishes on it. This box obviously doesn't meet the Keep It? cut, so into the recycling it goes, but it's a nice looking box.
APPEARANCE
The Ice Sport is small, pocket-sized, compact, and adorable. It is made of plastic. The cap is translucent hot pink and the barrel is clear. Through this you can see the ink cartridge that comes in the pen. The pen's design is very simple but I very much like it.
PERFORMANCE
The ICE Sport rollerball has a medium point tip with a liquid ink cartridge. The ink is quite smooth, though it is black which I find rather boring. I left it uncapped for half a day and it didn't dry out - that was pretty impressive! The flow is decent, not too wet for a rollerball, which you don't want. It dries very quickly on normal paper - within one to two seconds. It smears a little but drops of water shouldn't spread the ink too much. It's decent ink as far as rollerballs go!
IN HAND
The body is strong but lightweight - something I really like about the ICE Sport series in general. I love posting the pen and writing as the pen feels so comfortable in my hand and it's perfectly balanced to write with. The plastic warms to the touch and I also love that feeling.
PROS
For $21, this is a pretty economical way to get a cute, compact pen with a nice colour and a decent refill inside. Especially given that it's refillable - it's more environmentally friendly! I love the ICE Sport series and I'm happy to recommend this pen to others because of its reliability and performance, as well as its convenience. Also its cuteness.
This pen was provided by Kaweco for review. I was not compensated monetarily for this review. All opinions you read here are 100% my own!

Review: @CoolPencilCase Mamegoma Notepad Set + Mini Erasers
Um, if mini erasers didn't catch your attention already, perhaps the picture of them will get you.
Ok, sometimes you need a little piece of paper to scribble a note on to give to someone, or just to tuck into your pocket to remember something, or into your purse. Whatever the case is, sometimes you need to write something down. And sometimes you want something really cute to write it on.
TA-DA! In swoops the Mamegoma notepad set, accompanied by beyond-cute mini erasers that will probably make you gouge your right eyeball out. This little notepad set unfolds and opens up to reveal these adorable pads of paper, each different - some lined, some not. They are about 2.75 inches (70 mm) wide and 3.5 inches (90 mm) in length. There are six notepads and six tiny erasers.
Some of these sheets make a great tuck in for your pen pals as well! Or even an eraser, if you can part with one.
Pick up a Mamegoma notepad set with mini erasers for $5.85USD. There are two sets - this one is the pink and white set.

Review: @SulaJaneandEarl Journal, Phone and Pen Cover - Cloud
I finally got an iPhone a few months ago. Yes, after five years of having a BlackBerry (shut it). So when I saw Sula Jane and Earl making this Journal, Phone, and Pen Cover, I was like WHAAAAA. Because I love having things that hold all my accessories together in one place. Yes, like a bag. Only better.
ABOUT
Size: 6.25" x 10"
Color: Cloud
Price: $47.00USD
Where to buy: Sula Jane and Earl
APPEARANCE
This handmade Journal, Phone, and Pen leather cover has three openings - one for your smartphone (or mobile, I suppose... do people still use those?), one for your writing instrument of choice (I'm guessing a fountain pen and stylus combination), and a pocket-sized notebook. A beautiful trifecta, no? There is a little strap to button your leather cover closed so nothing falls out. I rather love it. It is simple and lovely.
PERFORMANCE & FEEL
I love the leather used by Sula Jane and Earl. In this case, it is the perfect softness - soft enough that it molds around your device, pen, and notebook, holding them all snug in place, but it's easy enough to remove them. It is soft to the touch. Oh, and it smells delicious.
Is it handy? Most definitely. I love being able to pull this from my bag and have my three favourite things ready and waiting for me. In the coolest way possible.
PROS
I really love this journal, phone, and pen cover. It's most convenient, it's soft, it's handmade, there's so many beautiful colours to choose from... what's not to love?!

Review: @Kaweco Aubergine/Summer Purple Ink @JetPens @AndersonPens
Another beautiful sample from Sebastian at Kaweco! Thank you so very much. I rather fancy this sweet purple colour.
ABOUT
Color: Purple
Bottle: 30 ml
Cartridges: 6 for $2.30USD
Price: $15.75USD
Price/ml: $0.525/ml
Where to buy: Cartridges at JetPens
AndersonPens (bottle)
PROS
A lovely colour purple - not just plain boring purple, but a sweet dusky purple that makes me think of a dusty sunset. I'm not sure about calling it Aubergine which I would think of as a much more solid, deeper purple. Nevertheless, a nice colour. It is a premium priced ink though so that may deter some folks.
I received this ink free of charge for the purposes of this review. I was not compensated monetarily for my review. Everything you've read here is my own opinion.

I Fancy You, @TWSBI Diamond 580 Rose Gold @AndersonPens
Have you gotten one? I do very much fancy this. Broad nib, for sure. Double broad would be even cooler. I do have a clear 540 and a clear 580 but this is justifiably different, right? RIGHT?
