PROS
- Good flow, even with the fast drying time.
- Very nice dusky/sunset purple.
- Some water resistance with wet application.
- Good saturation.
- Expensive.
A lovely colour purple - not just plain boring purple, but a sweet dusky purple that makes me think of a dusty sunset. I'm not sure about calling it Aubergine which I would think of as a much more solid, deeper purple. Nevertheless, a nice colour. It is a premium priced ink though so that may deter some folks.
I received this ink free of charge for the purposes of this review. I was not compensated monetarily for my review. Everything you've read here is my own opinion.

Lovely purple! It kinda reminds me of MB Lavender Purple, which I already have so I can pass on this, but it could be a nice option for someone who doesn't have a Montblanc boutique close :) Thanks for your thorough review :)
Wow... *LOVE*
Although it is a great color, it can be found within a lot of brands like Diamine, J. Herbin etc...
But the pricing, they should review the price range I guess.
Love Love Love purples. Most of mine lean towards the black infused hue but I really like the brightness of this one. Expensive yes, but a bottle will last me a long time. Thanks!
Great review! But I don't think I want an ink which the taste passes quickly. 🍷
Love that first up close swatch.....I don't know, aubergine is more the color of an eggplant, I think, so that might not be quite right, but it is lovely. Interesting how much pink is in the base color.
Well it's still not as expensive as the Iroshizuku you talked me into...ahem, kindly suggested;)
Excuse me. I... ..... ... yeah.
That's what I thought. Kaweco named it Summer Purple but it seems to go by Aubergine everywhere else so I included both names. Summer purple is definitely more appropriate.
LOL!! Hecks yeah. That is a serious factor.
Hooray! We may have a winner :D Yes, right you are, I always forget how long a bottle lasts me. *thinks about how many bottles I have amassed* Scary.
