Hi Azizah, such a lovely little Tortoise, hope she lives to a ripe old age as tortoises are wont to do! And what a wonderful broad line she makes in your writing samples (from a previous blog entry). I just have to ask about your Akkerman green ink...do you have just a sample or a full bottle? I tripped onto Akkerman's inks last weekend for the first time. Their ink bottles are krazy kool, unlike anything else I've seen in the marketplace. Just wondering if you're familiar with them.
I have nearly the same one and it's my everyday pen i always have in my shirt pocket. It's so good looking! (Just that I have the old style cap and my nib is in F, which is still too broad for my taste)
LOL need that XXXF grind, do you? :)
Thank you!! It's one of my favourite pens :)
As for the Akkermans - I have seven bottles of the stuff hehe, very cool bottles but lovely ink colours as well. I have the old bottles (150ml) and now they have released the small ones (60ml) for almost the same price!! Bummer.
Do yours have the round marble stopper which traps the ink in the upper reservoir after turning the bottle back over? I think that is so cool, plus the shape of the bottle! I half expect Barbara Eden to pop out and grant me a wish.
Thnx Azizah! Now im gonna have to go out and hunt a pelikan for my collection :D
Have you had a Dan Smith grind? I have enjoyed several of his. Lastly on my Pellikan M620 Chicago Medium. Now a smooth stub, with fantastic line variation. Your White Tortoise is gorgeous, thanks for sharing.
