  1. What do you think about the Diplomat Aero? I love the design and plan to buy one, but cannot decide which colour :D

  2. Azizah, What an excellent pairing of fine pens and inks. I am especially drawn to the Edison Menlo; I have a Morgan Pump Filler in the same Light Blue Translucent material (so pretty) which is filled with Sailor Jentle Souten (outstanding sheen with the medium nib)
...and I am drooling over the Visconti Wall Street...
Franklin-Christoph seems have had the Apache Sunset ink in mind when they designed their music nib.
    Thanks so much for posting.
    Have an wonderful weekend!

  3. Hey Paul! Thanks for your kind comment, as always :) I always look forward to reading what you have to say when I see a Disqus email notifying me you've commented! I LOVE the Menlo, honestly. I like the Collier a lot, but the Menlo is perfect. I have to pick up a bottle of the Souten, especially to compare it to Sky High, which I will pine for forever... Souten sounds like it would be perfect for the light blue translucent acrylic as well - as you have discovered :D Have a great weekend :)

  4. It's quite decent. I personally prefer the brown and it writes without issue (which can't be said for some far more expensive pens...). Unique appearance as well, except the nib is hard and I prefer softer nibs so I'm putting this one up for sale - need more spring to my nibs :)

  7. Azizah, nice pen ink setup ;). How do you like the ink of the year from pelikan (garnet)? In your post the shading no so strong, probably due to the visconti broad. The Edison Menlo is so beautiful, what about machting it with the private reserve tropical blue?

  8. I like the Garnet a lot - it does shade nicely in wet nibs. The Wall Street is VERY wet so it saturates quickly. I've already put the PR Tropical Blue in the Menlo :) Great combo!

  9. Yes, the garnet does shade nicely, one of my favourite inks of the edelstein collection, i have all 11 ;).
I saw your post with the Pelikan M1000 Raden Starlight how do you like the design?
I am considering to buy one, but i am also in "love" with the montblanc sforza le.
By the way azizah, as the ink authority, i can tell you that i got hold of bottles of the discontiued Caran d'Ache Caribbean Sea ink, i can provide at least 2 bottles, if somebody is interested ;).
