Competition Details:Competition starts Wednesday, October 15th, 2014 at noon BST and ends Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 at midnight GMT. Competition is open to European Union residents only! If you are located outside the EU, you cannot enter (or win). You cannot be an employee of or affiliated with Coles Pen Co Ltd, and bloggers and judges involved in the competition cannot enter. Only one entry per entrant is permitted. Fraudulent entries using multiple social media accounts will be eliminated.
How to Enter:
Create a piece of artwork using ink as the medium. You can use a fountain pen, dip pen, feather, shoe, anything! It can be a picture, a piece of calligraphy, abstract art - whatever you desire. The medium just has to be ink. Submit your entries on the Pen Heaven Blog, or Pen Heaven's Facebook. Entries must be received before or by Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 at midnight GMT.
Entries will be judged by two judges and rated on creativity and innovation with the medium of ink. First-, second- and third-place entries will be selected based on a tally of both judges’ scores. In the event of a tie, Pen Heaven will cast a deciding vote. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received throughout the Competition Period. Not an artist? (I sure as heck am not an artist...) Don't worry. Judging will be based on creativity and innovation with the medium of ink. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece. The more creative and innovative you are, the better!
Here's an example of a work created by SBRE Brown, using Pilot Parallel Calligraphy Pens (1.5 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.8 mm, and 6 mm), and the Platinum Mix-Free inks.
