PROS
- A safe blue with purple undertones.
- Shades well.
- Expensive.
- Kind of bland.
- No water resistance.
Although I find this ink colour pretty unspectacular, at least compared to some of Kaweco's other colours (Paradise Blue, Palm Green), it's always good to have a safe blue. This one is well behaved and doesn't do much. It cleans well but also shades well, so I'll give it some credit there. I wouldn't buy it but I'm not huge on this shade to begin with.
I received this ink free of charge for the purposes of this review. I was not compensated monetarily for my review. Everything you've read here is my own opinion.

Meh. Bland indeed. If I want something that won't frighten the horses and will clean up real good, I'll just pull out my Sheaffer Skrip Blue.
It's this typical blue that students in Germany had to use through most of their school time. Even two decades later I find myself shyoing away from it because it just screams "SCHOOL!!!!" to me. It probably even works with an ink killer.
If I have to use blue I prefer something like Waterman's Blue-Black.
I hadn't broken this color open yet. It seems like a fine workhorse ink, but I'm with you. Not super interesting. I love Palm Green. I also am really starting to like Summer Purple.
meh for me, also. too purply, and washed out. but thanks for the review!
Oh yeah the green and purple are great. I really enjoy those. Even the red is a nice red. Thiiiis one... too standard.
