- Nice, deep black with no other undertones.
- Has some sheen to it.
- Some water resistance.
- Highly saturated but not too difficult to clean.
- Expensive.
- No shading (as is expected with a black ink), but I find this unfortunate anyway.
- Flow is a little slow in wide nibs (such as calligraphy nibs).
While I generally find black inks very dull, I was pretty impressed with this one, but only because of one thing (can you guess what it is?): the sheen. The only other black ink I have so far seen with this is Sailor's Kiwa-Guro pigmented black ink. This one is not pigmented therefore it's much easier to clean, it has some water resistance, and it has a sheen. I can't complain too much.
