On the topic of gradiant in inks; you can get that with every fountain pen by dipping your inked fountain pen in another color ink botlle and write. Such fun! A wet writer will change color very quick (two words) and a dry writer may go on for a page with the dipped color, specially if it has no breather hole in the nib, so it all depends. I like to use it for quotes.

cool idea! I am going to have to try this. I hope that the internal ink does not run into the secondary bottle when you dip it! :(
It won't, but if you want to play it safe, just put some of the secondary ink in a separate container en you're good to go. Have fun.
Thanks for explaining that you don't have to be a master calligrapher to get a lot out of using these. They're on my list.
