One can never have too many pen cases (especially when one has too many pens to begin with).
Material: Leather
Price: € 32,90
Where To Buy: La Couronne du Comte
The case is all black leather with the Kaweco emblem in gold on the center band.
The front flap tucks into the center band around the body. Inside, the pouch has two slots to accommodate two pens. Each slot is fairly wide. The flap is also quite long, so I was able to fit some larger pens in here.
I love the way it feels. It's somewhat firm, but not a hard case, and it's also not floppy. It offers a good amount of protection to fountain pens . The coverage on the side when the flap is closed is decent, and the pens are recessed enough into the case that they do not poke out.
The case is well made and well put together. There are no stitches or threads hanging off anywhere that could make it look cheaply made. Overall, the entire case looks great and I'm very impressed with the way it looks and feels. If I find it needs conditioning over time, I will do so to maintain its luster and supple feel.
If you're looking for a simple two pen pouch for yourself, I definitely recommend this Kaweco leather pouch. It's a classy, elegant choice, and is practical and functional.
