PROS

• A fun tribute to The Beatles, especially if you are a fan!
• A gorgeous saturated purple with shading.
• Sheen!! Woo!
• Large bottle.
• Bottle is easy to fill from. 
• Not water resistant but it doesn't wash away completely.
• Very legible, even in dry or fine writers.

CONS

• On the pricey side.
• Purple inks can stain clear pens so be careful.
• Medium show through. 

OVERALL

I am a fan of Montblanc inks. Although they are expensive, I find the colors beautiful, saturated, and they offer shading. They tend to be well-behaved and not too difficult to clean. Even the best purple will require a little more maintenance than a washable blue so I do take some care with this ink (and other purples), but I enjoy it quite a bit. It's expensive but 50 ml is decent.
