These are available at Anderson Pens in two sizes - they are $16.50USD and $18.00USD.
Each notebook comes with a little ruler that serves as a bookmark, too! I find these incredibly useful and have them all over my desk and in the drawers. I also find it a more useful bookmark than a sewn in one.
They're pretty cute.
Size comparison, top to bottom: Field Notes Pocket Notebook, Stifflexible Medium Notebook, Baron Fig Confidant Notebook, Stifflexible Large Notebook, Clairefontaine 1951 Vintage Notebook, Leuchtturm1917 Medium Notebook, Maruman Mnemosyne N. 195 Notebook, Taroko Design Breeze A5 Notebook.
I was skeptical of the "stiff flexible" cover at first and after using several of the notebooks, I actually really like it. It just adds a level of comfort and practicality that I did not even know I needed or wanted.
I'm not always wild about back pocket covers but this is one of the better, more realistic ones.
They do not open fully and lie flat easily without breaking the spine a little. I'm okay with that.
Not terrible with fountain pens. These are pretty wet writers and while there is some bleed through, I found that writers that are on the dry to moderate side performed pretty well.
It does well with brush pens.
Ballpoint pens, gel inks, rollerballs, all those thingies do well.
Really nice with pencils. It's not particularly toothy but I enjoyed using pencils.
Some pros!
They're pretty fun. I would not purchase these to replace the notebooks I usually use for my fountain pens - Tomoe River, Clairefontaine, Rhodia, etc - but I would definitely pick these over Moleskine and some other random no-name notebook. They're pretty cute, quite practical, and comfortable to write in.
