PROS
- Shows nice shading in wet calligraphy nibs.
- Affordable - not the most inexpensive ink but not the worst either.
- Easy to clean.
CONS
- Not water resistant.
- Bottle is hard to fill fountain pens from when it gets around half empty, especially if you have larger fountain pens.
- Narrow bottle opening.
OVERALL
I generally like Bookbinder inks - especially the Eastern Brown, Everglades Ratsnake, and Emerald Boa. This red, although named after a snake, just doesn't do anything for me.
