PROS

• Nice color, very legible, even with finer writers.
• The bottle is easy to fill from.
• Reusable ink bottle.
• Interesting color - not vibrant green but unusual and nice.
• Easy to store/stack on your shelf.
• Portable.
• Shows some water resistance.

CONS

• Messy to open the bottle with the foil seal.
• So saturated that if you get it into the threads, it can crust up and cause leakage.
• A little tough to clean from certain pens.
• I don't like the scent.

OVERALL

While I really like the original series of Blackstone inks (unscented) and I like the color of this particular one, it's been such a pain. Messy to open, messy around the mouth when the ink crusts, and I don't like the scent. It is not for me. I love the color of this one, unfortunately!

Serious Nibbage with Pelikan Nibs - Broads and Mega Broads!

I think this video is pretty self-explanatory. I bought all these nibs with my own pennies (and many pennies it was) and I thought you might enjoy seeing some of them!

Jacques Herbin Cornaline d'Égypte Ink Review @Exaclair @JetPens

Jacques Herbin 1798 Cornaline d'Égypte is the next ink in the lineup, after Améthyste de l'Oural. I am a fan of the Améthyste and while I really like orange inks, I'm not too sure about this one.

PROS

• Wider mouth makes it easier to fill larger pens from.
• Very pretty to look at!
• Solid, won't tip while you're filling pens.
• Legible orange, even in finer nibs.

CONS

• Requires a bit extra attention when cleaning - the shimmer can stick. 
• I'm not wild about the shading - there is not a whole lot of it. 
• Not inexpensive!

OVERALL

Well, I must admit I'm not crazy about this ink. I wasn't all that excited when I saw it upon release but now that I have used it more, and even though I love orange inks, this one just doesn't do much for me. I like the color when it's saturated but I don't need to have a whole bottle just for the few times I'll play with it. What do you think of it?
