Toucan Aqua Ink Review
I wish these inks were easier to get. They're a great price and they used to come in these disturbing little IV baggies that made the inks affordable to transport. The bags are reusable, and you can decant what you want into a bottle for use. It's just great, especially if you are low on space (like I am). Alas, they have switched to glass bottles so I can no longer rave about the baggies. Nothing wrong with the glass bottles. Another great thing: these inks are safely mixable with each other.
Price: $6.90AUD
Where to buy: Just Write
The aqua is hands down my favorite ink from the collection. Many of the colors have names that don't quite match up with the ink - you'll see in the coming weeks - but this one is just stunning. Exquisite shading, easy to clean, and did I mention the caribbean sea shades I ADORE?

De Atramentis Great Writers Ink Bottle Charles Dickens Cement Grey
The "Tintenmanufaktur" De Atramentis from Hachenburg, Germany has been producing high quality inks for over 25 years. All inks are entirely hand made, according to recipes from different eras.De Atramentis Great Writers Ink Bottle Charles Dickens Cement Grey is a pretty grey that shades well and is not terribly expensive to explore. It's a pretty plain bottle and the labels are not the most beautiful things ever, but I do appreciate that they are made by one family and they remain affordable to those of us who are into ink exploring. It cleans out pretty easily and it behaves well. I haven't had any issues with it. I just don't care for round bottles like this because I cannot stack them or arrange them easily in a small space. No big deal, though. The De Atramentis inks are presented without a box and I like that as it's a low waste bottle.
